Matthew's Blessing Day

We blessed Matthew at our church today. It was a sweet blessing...this is one special kid!

Matthew Vincent is born SEPT 19th 2008!

Little Matthew came to us on Friday September 19th at 4:50am. 8lbs and 8oz. Delivered by Dr. L. Hildebrandt. The delivery went well, and John got to help deliver baby Matthew!! it was a great experience for him as a PA student. Nana Rees came to help with the family as Chelsy recovered... we couldn't have done it without her!! Nana even weeded our flower beds and decorated the outside of our house for Halloween!

No more classroom...it's time to start my rotations!

My first rotation is at a family practice clinic right down the street from my house! The doctor who oversees my rotation there is SO nice and friendly, and he is an EXCELLENT teacher. I am learning a lot from him. This hands-on experience is so much better than sitting in a classroom or the library!

Scotty got a new bike!

Scotty got a new bike, and even though it was brand new he dressed up Zachary in the new Spiderman helmet and pushed him around... it was precious!

Christmas PJs

We took the kids to Overland's Christmas Farm tonight where the whole farming village is lit up with 2 million lights. The kids loved it! It was COLD so we got hot chocolates and warm cider. The kids rode a christmas train, and we saw horse-drawn carriages, a model train village, a candy shope, a kettle corn shope, a big bonfire where we warmed our hands, and an antique toy barn where a Santa listened to the kid's LISTS of things they wanted for Christmas. It was a great night. To top it off, the kids were surprised by Nana and Papa's traditional Christmas PJs and they were SO happy and snuggly with them on tonight. Thanks NANA AND PAPA!!!
